Bishop is a Bible research application for Android which works with the vast library of resources published for use with The SWORD Project from the CrossWire Bible Society.
It has unique tools that include the New Testament Virtual Manuscript Room from the Institute for New Testament Text Research, as well as the New Testament Manuscript Library from the same institution. It is available in dozens of languages and can handle texts in any language.
Bishop can also search for specific passages of Scripture, as well as specific people or events from the Bible. It can also be used to study the history of a particular book or the entire Bible.
